We own our own factory in Pondicherry, South India, where all of our products are made. By owning our own factory, we are able to ensure that everybody who works with us to create our tote bags is treated fairly, equally and ethically. In India, 90% of our workforce is female, and many of these women are the main breadwinner in their family. We support them with fair wages, and value their welfare and wellbeing. Our cotton fabric is also Fairtrade certified, meaning that we are can ensure that every member of our supply chain is being paid fairly and treated equally.
