The Dior Cruise 2025 Tote Bag
Creation and production of the Dior Cruise 2025 Tote Bag.
The Dior Cruise 2025 collection celebrates the long-standing Anglo-French fashion connection by blending French craftsmanship with Scottish traditions. The Cruise 2025 event showcased at Drummond Castle, Scotland, paid homage to Dior’s historic ties with Britain, including Princess Margaret’s affinity for the brand, with a modern fusion of fashion and tradition, featuring Scotland’s rich textile heritage.
Crafting Exclusivity
The last time the famous brand held a runway show in Scotland was in 1955 when Christian Dior himself presented two fashion shows – one being held at the Gleneagles hotel in Auchterarder.
This time, the French Couture brand and luxury hotel Gleneagles collaborated with Bags of Ethics to create a gorgeous and unique tote bag. Featuring black and white photography from Christian Dior’s 1955 Cruise Collection, this special edition piece was meticulously crafted by a team of experts in the UK and Pondicherry, India.
Sustainable Luxury
From digital printing to stitching and hardware placement, every detail was executed with precision under the guidance of Designer Maria Grazia Chiuri’s team in Paris. Beyond its aesthetic appeal, the Dior Cruise 2025 tote bag stands as a testament to sustainable fashion practices. Produced by an 80% female workforce with non-toxic REACH-compliant inks on a 100% cotton-canvas base, the manufacturing process prioritised environmental consciousness without compromising on quality or style, reflecting the shared values of Dior, Gleneagles, and Bags of Ethics, setting a new standard for responsible luxury in the fashion industry.
