Finding a manufacturer able to produce well-made luxury large canvas bags
Ottolenghi is a restaurant chain and online store, which was founded in 2002. With restaurants opened all over London, Yotam Ottolenghi was able to bring middle eastern dishes to life with his extensive knowledge of food, flavours and colours in his cooking.
The brand has been able to transform into a household name. Their principle of the brand is to bring joy into cooking and to make people happy through their food.
Ottolenghi have a range of products including cooking sauces, spices, tablewear, gifts and cookbooks, all sold in their restaurants and online. The project was to be created for their online store to be sold in their hamper and gifts collection on Ottolenghi.co.uk. The bag would be perfect for picnics and festive gifts and accommodate heavy bottles and jars.
Producing a range of large & luxury canvas bags
To add variety to the bag, the team decided to create four colours (white, green, orange and red). As the bag was large in size, there was also a pocket added for any utensils or necessities the customer wishes to add into this section. The bag’s print was matched to swatches negotiated with the factory and the client.
The Supreme Creations team created a bag made for any nature outings, picnics or shopping trips. The bag was created the bags as part of the retail hamper offering by the renowned chef Ottolenghi. The client also opted for a custom full bleed white plasticol print and overprint of the signature Ottolenghi red logo in turquoise and midnight blue.
Ultimately Supreme Creations was asked to create a festive version of the hamper canvas bag using gold printing for the logo on a white and beige thick canvas. No need to say this version was sold out very fast!
