General Guidelines
This guidelines are here to help you provide an accurate artwork and choose the best option for the best result. Connect your sales representative if you need more guidance. We also offer a studio service at a small cost. Programs such as Adobe Illustrator are the preferred method of creating art for screen-printing.
Artwork Specifications
We accept several file formats: PDF (with layers), AI, PSD, TIFF, and EPS (as Jpeg is a form of compression, the resolution is not high enough for printing. Please do not use jpeg files for reproduction purposes).
How to convert simple design to Vector format for screen printing
Please ensure that all fonts are converted to outlines (vectorized) to eliminate the likelihood that we do not have the fonts used in your artwork, or embed them in the file.
How to convert gradient design to bitmap for screen printing
If appropriate, submit files with all colours converted to spot colour and all unused colours deleted from the file.
Pantone Reference Guide
Textile screen printing inks are formulated differently to offset inks and are different from Pantone inks. However, we are able to match uncoated Pantone PMS numbers for colour names, i.e. 185U for red ink. Use the uncoated colours. (There are no “coated” textile products) Be sure to check the PMS book for colour accuracy as the on-screen versions are often quite misleading.
Colour Matching: To match a specific Pantone colour, please send us a swatch to match. Colours and Pantones on screen can vary in colour from reality due to the screen settings. We use environmentally friendly inks which are non-toxic, and REACH compliant
